The Smile - Cutouts (Indie Edition)
We've secured 50 copies on White Indies Vinyl
The Smile â Radioheadâs Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and Sons of Kemetâs Tom Skinner â return with their third album âCutoutsâ.
The 10-track album was produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies [Frank Ocean 'Blond', Thom Yorke 'Suspiria'], mastered by Sterling Soundâs Greg Calbi and features artwork by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, in Oxford and in moments on the road, the tracks feature strings by the London Contemporary Orchestra as well as contemporary UK jazz player Pete Wareham [flute]. Keen-eyed fans will be familiar with a number of tracks that have been debuted live during the bandâs 2023 and 2024 tours as well as recognize âTiptoeâ, which was shared as a sneak preview at this yearâs Wall of Eyes: on Film events.
âCutoutsâ follows the band's acclaimed albums, âWall of Eyesâ â released earlier this year â and 2022âs âA Light For Attracting Attentionâ, which was named an AOTY by Pitchfork, Uncut, MOJO, Rough Trade, Billboard, New York Times, Consequence and many more.
Please note:
Due to the nature of making a vinyl record, each record is one of a kind. The vinyl you receive may look different from our photo. Colored vinyl is more prone to surface noise and imperfections.
